The Chiquito philosophy centres around a passion for food made using only the tastiest of ingredients. The team aims to provide a first-rate experience for all diners, whether it be the lunchtime brigade looking for a light bite, or a couple or group looking for a leisurely evening's dining. Sizzling specials, delicious authentic fajitas and many other Mexican favourites really cut the mustard - and staff are always on hand to aid your decision. All that's left for you to do is soak up the vibrant, friendly atmosphere, and of course, tuck into some wholesome, flavour-packed food.
Start with chilli poppers perhaps - breaded jalapenos filled with an irresistible cream cheese sauce and served with a sweet chilli jelly - or chorizo and gem lettuce wraps with sweetcorn, jalapenos and a pot of lime-and-tequila-flavour sauce for that extra kick. The fillet of cod roasted in a mango glaze and served over fajita vegetables and pink onions is a fine choice too - choose to have this as part of a fajita or salad meal if you wish. Chicken and chorizo skewers also feature, as well as plenty of traditional Mexican choices such as beefy burritos, pollo del fuego, enchiladas and veggie, chicken, pork and beef chilli quesadillas. Maybe you'll crave one of their lip-smacking burgers - think barbecue pulled pork and cheese in a soft white bun with baby gem lettuce, red onion, beef tomato and chipotle mayo. Otherwise, you can always plump for a formidable, super-juicy steak with fries or spiced Mexican rice, or a fresh and enticing citrus-dressed salad of blackened salmon, Cajun spices and roasted veg. The children's menu is a great feature too - with plenty for the kids to get stuck into.
Finish with classic churros sprinkled with cinnamon sugar, fudge popcorn sundae or banana taquito wrapped in a cinnamon tortilla - delicious. You'll want to wash it all down with something suitably exotic, so why not choose from the selection of expertly mixed alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails? Or go all out with a cheeky shot of tequila, and kick off an evening of revelry the Mexican way
