Known to locals as The Gari, this traditional 19th-century pub has been the centre of the community for more than a century. This warm and cosy pub is well placed on cycle routes, making it the perfect stop off. It’s also family- and dog-friendly – keep an eye out for their own resident four-legged friend. Choose from a selection of real ale and wine, and peruse the extensive menu, which is comprised of fresh, locally sourced ingredients. To start, you might enjoy the pan-seared scallops with chorizo, before choosing from the mains. You’ll find pub favourites as well as the likes of a minted lamb burger, and a make-your-own-salad, where diners choose their toppings.
