The Queens Head

There is a nostalgic old-village-inn feel about The Queens Head pub in Titchfield. Enjoy a pint from the selection of real ales in the cosy bar area as you take in the open fire centrepiece, wooden beams and photographs of the village from a bygone era. You'll feel equally at home in the restaurant, where landlady Marilyn demonstrates her passion for genuine home cooking through a menu of classic English fare, using ingredients that have been sourced as locally as possible. The warmth and comfort of the venue was matched by my creamy broccoli and Stilton soup, while my partner started with chunky haddock and spring onion fishcakes. For your main course, don't miss Marilyn's steak and kidney pie encased in shortcrust pastry, while the steamed sticky toffee pudding is recommended to finish - utterly delicious and well presented.
