The award-winning hotel and spa is located in the idyllic village of Bepton and is just a five-minute drive down a leafy lane from the historic market town of Midhurst. With stunning views of the South Downs National Park and surrounding countryside in every direction, the hotel also boasts a beautifully restored traditional Sussex barn for parties, celebrations and dinners and is licensed for weddings. Independently owned and run by the O’Brien family since the late 1940s, this luxury country house hotel and spa has a warm and welcoming home-from-home atmosphere that is evident from the moment you step through the door. The executive chef, Callum Keir, is classically trained – he has worked in Paris and with the British Michelin-starred chef Martin Blunos. Fundamental to the dining experience at Park House is that all produce that passes through the kitchen door must be fresh, local and seasonal, and the menu changes on a regular basis to reflect this and the produce available. A three-course lunch and dinner menu is available daily in the dining room or more contemporary conservatory that overlooks the croquet lawn. In warmer weather, guests can enjoy their meals outside, while taking in the wonderful gardens and far-reaching views. Drinks can be enjoyed in the drawing room, which is also the perfect place to enjoy afternoon tea. A traditional Sunday lunch is served every week.
