Nestled in rural Sussex, Wellies Tea Rooms is housed in a converted barn just a five-minute drive from the city of Chichester. Inside, you’ll find a cosy but modern interior, with plenty of comfy seating perfect for a private function such as a baby shower, birthday celebration or engagement party. The food served is locally sourced and each dish is prepared to order, so you can always be assured of the freshness of your food. The tearooms’ dog-friendly status also makes it the ideal stop off after a walk.

You can pop into Wellies for breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea and every day there’s a range of different specials available. For breakfast, indulge in a full English – complete with fried egg, bacon, sausage, baked beans, Wellies’ hash, grilled tomato and toast – or perhaps sample the classic eggs Benedict. Vegetarians can also enjoy a veggie breakfast, or avocado on sourdough toast. Wellies breakfast offering also includes homemade fluffy American pancakes, which come served with crispy bacon or fruit. At lunch, dishes range from ham, egg and chips and smoked haddock and mozzarella fishcakes, to a luxury vegetarian burger and a beefburger served in a soft brioche bun. If you’re looking for something lighter, the baked potatoes are perfect, and the quiches, which are freshly baked, are sure to satisfy your hunger.
