Father and son team Calum and Scott Oliver have always wanted to run their own restaurant. Together with front-of-house manager Jaydean Pilling, they have now realised this dream by opening Oliver at Bollington Green.
The restaurant, which occupies a lovely spot opposite the village green, has undergone a thorough refurbishment, giving it a modern feel while remaining true to its picturesque location. The menu is pleasingly concise, focusing on quality rather than quantity, and everything is made using fresh produce from farms and producers across the county. The tempting à la carte, exciting specials menu and great-value set menu are accompanied by a carefully chosen wine list. Expect a wide selection of decent beers too, including Oliver's own, which is made by a local brewery.
