The varied menu at Vujon is a creative and diverse celebration of traditional Indian classics and popular contemporary dishes. Starters include a generous mixed tandoori platter for two, sumptuous tiger prawns in chilli, lemongrass, kaffir lime, garlic and honey, and Achari paneer: cubes of Indian cheese marinated in yoghurt and mixed pickle, slowly cooked in the tandoor. The presentation sets Vujon apart from other Indian restaurants – the mains are truly beautiful. Try the pheasant tarkari, a delicate dish from the region of Pondicherry, which has French culinary influences, or plump for the rich and tender lamb shank rogan josh, served with saffron pilau rice and caramelised shallots. An extensive selection of fine wine and Champagne are available to accompany your meal, and private dining is available for large parties upon request.
