As culinary experiences go, you can't get more personal than having your own dedicated chef. That is exactly what you get at Fujiyama, a restaurant which captures the very essence of Japanese cuisine. Choose from the extensive menu, which has been carefully balanced to suit the needs of both hardened carnivores and their vegetarian friends, and a highly trained chef will make his way over to your table carrying just the raw ingredients. Then the show begins. On the table hot-plates, your chef will whip up your order right in front of your eyes so each dish is served sizzling and cooked to perfection.
A set menu is just the place to start if you're new to teppanyaki (or simply can't choose). I would highly recommend the Fujiyama Royal. Starting off with Fujiyama salad, scallops, spare ribs and yakitori, a light miso soup that cleanses the palate in preparation for the main event. Tiger king prawns, salmon steak,
chicken teriyaki and sirloin steak will all be scrumptiously prepared at your table, to be enjoyed with teppanyaki vegetables and fried rice. Of course, diners can also create their own menu, and the sushi section is well worth diving into. Warm sake, Japanese lagers and an extensive wine menu mean there is plenty on offer to wash your meal down with. The ample space for 80 people combined with the interactive dining experience means Fujiyama is a great place to hold a party. It's the talk of the town
