London boasts many luxurious bars, but you'd be hard-pushed to find one as unique as The Attic. Situated on the 48th floor of the Pan Peninsula building - the UK's tallest residential building - this stunning cocktail and Champagne bar boasts floor-to-ceiling windows showcasing panoramic views across the city. The 1950s-inspired interior was designed by 'National Interior Designer of the Year' winner Matt Rawlinson and features a black granite bar, sumptuous furnishings and subtle lighting.

The atmosphere was buzzing on the evening we visited, and the bar was filled with businesspeople, partygoers and couples enjoying the fabulous cocktails and sophisticated surroundings. The creative concoctions on offer here are a must-try - the list features Champagne cocktails, seasonal specials, flavoured shooters and alcohol-free 'driver' cocktails. We sampled an expertly mixed Banana Daiquiri and a classic Rossini featuring strawberry purée, strawberry liqueur and Prosecco. There is also a range of sharing platters to accompany your chosen libation - perhaps try the vegetable and fish platter, featuring hara kebab, deep-fried calamari, chargrilled halloumi salad, fishcakes and prawns in filo pastry.

The Attic can be booked for private parties of up to 100 guests and is an impressive setting for a party or corporate event. Whether you visit for a business meeting, celebration or simply for a spontaneous evening of cocktails and socialising, The Attic's stylish decor and fabulous drinks list will make it an evening to remember
