View AllServing breakfast, lunch and dinner, Hugo’s is a quiet hideaway from the busy streets of the capital. From 8am, the chefs whip up pancakes, brioche buns and rosemary focaccia in preparation for the day ahead, while Brazilian head chef Cesar creates the weekly menu and new additions for the specials board. Cooking honest, wholesome food is what Cesar does best and why regulars return. Quench your thirst with a pint of real ale from Wales, cider from Suffolk, or craft ale from Fourpure. Alternatively, opt for a glass of world wine or organic juice, and when the weather is fine, take it to the front terrace and enjoy the sun. The new canopies make it possible to dine al fresco all year round, gazing at passersby.
At the weekend, families and friends tuck into the all-day breakfasts. If your head is sore from the night before, perk yourself up with a Bloody Mary along with your brunch.
The unique and intimate feel of Hugo’s makes it a great spot for weddings. Cesar personalises each menu and the team ensures that everything is covered, making it a day to remember for all the right reasons. They can accommodate up to 70 people seated and 120 people buffet style. Office parties, birthdays and special occasions can be held here too.
