The Snooty Fox

Roaring fireplaces and staff who greet visitors like friends ensure a warm atmosphere at the tastefully refurbished Snooty Fox. Should you visit during the summer, the stylish decking offers a lovely setting for alfresco dining - and you'll dine like a king thanks to the head chef's carefully thought-out and affordable menu. My companion and I started with delectable deep-fried whitebait and creamy garlic mushrooms with toasted bruschetta, while for mains we had homemade vegetable lasagne and the chicken and stuffing pie of the day served with an array of fresh vegetables. Wooed by the beautifully presented vanilla pannacotta, generously drizzled with stewed purple fruits, and apple crumble with cream, we succumbed and so departed from this lovely establishment with absolutely no regrets.
