The Brewers Arms

A warm welcome awaits you at The Brewers Arms, a thriving community pub in the heart of Brightlingsea. Upon arrival the first thing you’ll notice is the relaxed and friendly atmosphere and traditional pub decor. There’s also ample outside seating so you can make the most of the rare British sunshine. As the weather cools down the pub becomes a cosy retreat from the elements where you can warm up by the fire.

The food menu is unpretentious and the prices are pocket-friendly; expect daily specials like fisherman’s pie with seasonal veg and delicious chilli con carne served atop a jacket potato. For dessert you might sample the likes of homemade chocolate brownie or knickerbocker glory. The team prides itself on serving honest home-cooked food, and the portions are always generous. You’ll find a wide range of drinks to complement your meal at the well-stocked bar, from local ale and cider to wine, gin and more. Every day between 4pm and 6pm is happy hour (4pm to 7pm on Fridays), when all draught beers are £2.60. Whether you stop by for a few drinks with friends or take your family for one of the popular Sunday roasts, you’re in for a treat.
