The Angel

The Angel, set inside a quaint old building in the market town of Ramsey, is a real find. Brimming with character both inside and out (the original stained-glass windows are delightful), the bar and lounge offer plenty of charm, whether you're propping up the bar with friends or settling in for a delicious meal. If the latter option appeals, expect to find class pub food, pizzas and burgers on the comprehensive menu. Battered haddock, hand-cut chips and mushy peas, the turkey and pastrami-topped Soprano pizza, and the handmade Bandit burger, made with 28-day-matured steak mince and topped with bacon and smoked Cheddar, are amongst the many enticing dishes. If you prefer, you can enjoy something from the takeaway menu at home. On Sundays, visit for the delicious roast lunches, prepared with quality meat and fresh vegetables.
