Auntie's is a traditional English tearoom which has been serving Cambridge shoppers and visitors for over 30 years. It is lovingly decorated and classically presented with lace tablecloths, china teacups and smartly dressed waitresses. The fi rst things you notice upon entering are the friendly smiles of the staff and the welcoming atmosphere. Once seated, you can browse the menu at your leisure - the range of dishes is so mouth-wateringly inviting that you'll certainly fi nd it diffi cult to choose between them.

It would have been very easy for this establishment to become a modern food outlet typical of the kind found on every street corner, but Auntie's has managed to resist this temptation. Instead, it is a traditional little haven in the midst of a modern world, in-keeping with the historic surroundings of the University Senate House, Great St Mary's Church and the world-famous King's College Chapel - which are practically on its doorstep. There couldn't be a more perfect setting. It is the ideal place to pop in for a bite to eat while in the city, whether it's for a well-earned breakfast, a light lunch or an afternoon cream tea. All dishes on the menu are freshly prepared to order and cakes are baked daily on the premises.
