Plumtree Fish & Chips is proud to serve MCS-certified, sustainable, wild, line-caught fish, as well as the very best British potatoes – all fried in healthy rapeseed oil, which is low in saturated fat and retains its antioxidants, goodness and flavour at high frying temperatures. Available at The Plumtree are fish and chip shop classics like fresh haddock fillet, salmon steak and cod loin encased in crisp golden batter, served with homemade mushy peas and chips that are crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Exclusive to the restaurant menu are king prawns in garlic butter, calamari and fresh, seasonal Cromer crab.
The Plumtree is fully licensed and stocks a fine selection of wine, Champagne, Prosecco and bottled ale, beer and cider. Each week the restaurant and takeaway run their gluten-free Friday; be sure to notify a member of the team on arrival. Those with a sweet-tooth will be pleased to find that the team makes a plethora of treats in-house. With a dessert menu that changes weekly, you are sure to find favourites such as sticky toffee pudding, walnut brownie and mixed berry meringue; even the ice cream is homemade.
