Restaurant Sat Bains with Rooms
Fine Dining
Restaurant Sat Bains with Rooms firmly places Nottinghamshire on the gastronomic map. Just a few miles from the city centre, this enchanting farm conversion, on a tranquil stretch of the River Trent, has received international acclaim for its innovative and modern approach to cooking. It boasts two Michelin stars, fi ve AA rosettes, is rated nine out of ten in the Waitrose Good Food Guide, and it was recently inducted into Les Grandes Tables du Monde, a prestigious guide featuring the finest restaurants in the world.
With one of the UK’s most creative chefs at the helm, together with his wife Amanda, Restaurant Sat Bains continues to be at the vanguard of the British food scene and astounds customers with its cuisine. The seven- and ten-course tasting menus have been created to maximise the flavour of each ingredient, so that each dish progresses naturally to the next, using the three key components of taste, texture and temperature.
Private dining facilities are provided at the Kitchen Bench (up to four guests), and at the Chef’s Table (from four to eight guests) where dishes are served by the chefs themselves. Technical skill abounds throughout the restaurant, but nowhere is this more on display than in Nucleus, a bijou six-seat restaurant within the development kitchen. The seven luxury boutique bedrooms are individually designed and located in both the main building and a separate annex within the restaurant grounds. Overnight rates include a full breakfast.
