The Case

Located in a converted luggage factory with a private room for 40 guests and an 80-cover restaurant, The Case offers style, sophistication and staggeringly good value. A prime example is the set price lunch menu, which offers two courses and a complimentary aperitif for £12.50 or three courses and an aperitif for £15.

From the lunch menu, diners can expect to start with delectable dishes such as salmon and cod fishcake, wasabi aioli, and pickled cucumber. To follow, braised blade of beef, braised red cabbage, roasted butternut squash and jus is sure to be a winner. Tempting treats bring your meal to a sweet finish; orange and lime panna cotta with candied lemon and mango sorbet is just one example of the delicious desserts available. The Case’s à la carte menu is equally impressive, with an offering that includes tempura king prawns, chilli and lime jam, and crispy haricot to start, sous-vide pheasant breast, smoked bacon quiona, crispy cavolo nero, and red wine jus to follow, and poached pear Tarte tatin, amaretto ice cream to finish. Don’t forget the fixed-price evening menu, with two courses for £16 and three for £20, allowing diners to enjoy excellent food and drink at attractive prices. At the weekends sample a sumtuous five-course tasting menu.
