Dolly ‘n’ Teds
Tearoom
0.5 miles

Set amongst the charming stone cottages of Castleton, Dolly ‘n’ Teds can be found in the rural village of Castleton in the heart of the Peak District National Park. Surrounded by beautiful open countryside, presided over by the ruins of the 11th-century Peveril Castle, Castleton is the perfect place to bring the family for a day out. Once you’ve walked up Mam Tor and explored the famous underground caves, be sure to pop in to Dolly ‘n’ Teds for a tasty lunch or a traditional afternoon tea.
This delightful tearoom was once a greengrocers owned by Dolly and Ted many years ago. Now known locally as the hidden tearoom, Dolly ‘n’ Teds has bags of character. Make your way upstairs to the main tearoom, where you’ll find plenty of tables and menus listing the café’s enticing selection of food and drink. Order a freshly brewed coffee or a pot of tea, and combine with a crumbly homemade scone or, in the morning, a delicious toasted teacake with melting butter – the perfect brunch.
As well as sweet treats and cakes, Dolly ‘n’ Teds offers a range of sandwiches and light bites – warm up with a bowl of piping hot soup, or refuel with a homemade sandwich. Whether you’re local to Castleton or visiting the area for the first time, you’re in for a treat.
