The Risley Park offers a concise menu of homemade food, which is consistently served to high standards of precision. We opted for something a little different, and our starters of Peking duck spring rolls with hoisin dipping sauce and lemon sole goujons with lemon and tartar sauce, were both beautiful and flavoursome. Our mains comprised perfectly cooked fillet steak and a seafood medley of sea bass, poached salmon and butterflied prawns with a lemon butter sauce. Everything was accompanied by side orders of al dente seasonal vegetables, chips and a side salad. These side dishes are included in the price of the meal and top-ups are similarly free of charge. To finish, we were feeling a tad indecisive so opted for the tasting selection, which includes five smaller portions of the popular puddings. It was a great ending to our meal and we shall definitely be revisiting soon.
