The Lord Nelson is situated slightly off the beaten track in the pretty village of Winthorpe. Owners Scott and Caroline Young offer the warmest of welcomes at this beautiful grade-II-listed building. Leather sofas next to a roaring log fire provide the perfect place to peruse the menu, while wooden floors and contemporary furnishings enhance the dining experience. The large enclosed garden offers plenty of space for enjoying the warmer months. A small private dining room is available for parties of up to 14 with the option of an individually written menu - perfect for any function, from birthday parties to wedding receptions.

Award-winning head chef Scott and his team prepare a delicious range of beautifully presented, traditional pub food, and every dish is freshly cooked to order to guarantee quality. The lunch menu offers a great range of paninis, baguettes and omelettes, and Sunday lunches are very popular - booking is advised. All ingredients are locally sourced and the menus change with the seasons to reflect the freshest produce available, making every visit to the Lord Nelson a pleasant culinary surprise. The superb food, coupled with the excellent selection of cask ales and lagers, makes this country pub the ideal setting for any occasion.
