Blue Bell Inn
Pubs and Bars with Restaurants

Low Street, East Drayton, Nr. Retford, DN22 0LN

With its unique tartan carpet, open fireplace and classic decor, the Blue Bell Inn conveys a real sense of tradition. In summer, the outdoor seating area is the ideal spot for a home-cooked family meal or for savouring something from the selection of real ales, lagers, wines, spirits and soft drinks. Try the reasonably priced rustic paté with homemade Melba toast to start, or perhaps baked-in-the-box Camembert. Homemade Lamb Henry is also available, comprising a beautifully cooked full lamb shank mounted on a bed of mashed potato with seasonal vegetables. Otherwise, why not opt for the pan-fried liver with bacon and onion? Finish off with the popular Four of the Best taster dessert platter, a Yorvale ice cream sundae or traditional sticky toffee and date pudding.
The team at the Blue Bell Inn have thoughtfully put together a new range of glutenfree options in order to help make eating out just as much of a treat and less of a hassle for those with special dietary requirements and allergies. These include everything from curry to Eton Mess - even your after-dinner cheese and biscuit selection. You won't be short of entertainment either, with a range of musicians frequently enlisted to perform. The outdoor party marquee - which seats up to 60 - is certainly worth a mention and is available from £50 per evening until April and again from December 2012. Visit the website and you'll see plenty of exciting events planned throughout the year.
