Experience a warm welcome in traditional yet contemporary surroundings, overlooking the Cotswold countryside. All food here is prepared using fresh, locally sourced produce. They constantly look for a ‘flavour hit’ and offer this with many dishes, combining Spanish influences and other flavour twists. Daily specials make the most of seasonal availability and change – there will always be something different to tempt your palate.

Try traditional favourites such as steak-and-ale pie and fish and chips, or more exotic dishes such as paprika pork steak with garlic mash and roasted red-pepper sauce; ginger chilli chicken served with roasted Mediterranean vegetables; and Spanish dishes including albóndigas (meatballs) and estofado (beef stew). Sunday lunches are a must-book, with a choice of delicious starters, roast meats and desserts.

All wines are charged at the same reasonable rate, and the beers and ales even have their cellar temperature displayed in the bar. The large beer garden caters for alfresco dining, and has children’s play equipment for use in fine weather. The adjoining skittle alley can be hired for private functions and a variety of buffet options are available.
