No remnants of the building’s previous life remain at this city centre venue, instead a new buffet experience has been launched. Step inside and you’ll discover a taste of India, flavours of China, the spice of Mexico and the subtle seasoning of Italy. This is a restaurant with something for everybody. Downstairs, the restaurant is spacious and stylish with red leather seating complemented by dark wooden furnishings and a well-stocked bar. But before you sit down to enjoy your meal, venture up the impressive staircase to the lounge and bar area. Whether waiting for your table or simply enjoying a pre or post-dinner drink, the lounge area is comfortably littered with leather sofas and tub armchairs in full view of the impressive crystal chandelier hanging from the corniced ceiling. Sip on a house cocktails or enjoy a bottle of Ruben Hall sauvignon blanc before moving downstairs to enjoy the laid-back party atmosphere. A huge open kitchen with counter islands displaying this buffet is the focal point of the restaurant. Choose your cold cut of meat, fish, and vegetables and ask one of the expert chefs to create a fabulous dish spiced to your liking, it’s all here fresh and delicious. Create your own pizza at the Italian station and pile on the toppings of your choice. The salad counter offers between 15 and 20 salads, dressings and dips to accompany your meal while the starter counter tempts you with its colourful range of Indian, Mexican, Chinese and Italian dishes. As well as the dishes cooked before your eyes, there are also between 15 and 18 main buffet dishes to mix and match as you please. Desserts pose even more temptation with freshly cut fruit and up to 15 different cakes there for the taking. Eat as much as you like at lunchtime for £5.95, from Sunday to Wednesday evenings for £11.95, and Thursday to Saturday nights for £13.95 – a sumptuous feast and a bargain to boot. < return to search results |
