The Clifton Sausage branches out to Bath this weekend, with an eagerly anticipated launch night on the 21st October (invite only) and then opening to the public from lunchtime on the 22nd October. Right in time for chilly winter nights and comfort food cravings, The Clifton Sausage will serve some of Britain’s best bangers-and-mash alongside an esteemed menu of classic and traditional dishes.

The Clifton Sausage in Bath will occupy a Grade II listed Georgian building along The Paragon, a premises that fits perfectly with the restaurant’s celebration of British heritage and tradition. Following in the footsteps of its successor, the new Bath menu will feature six luxury sausage varieties alongside seasonal favourites such as fresh seafood, imaginative vegetarian dishes, and richly indulgent puddings.

Expect the likes of pressed Wiltshire ham with ham hock terrine and homemade piccalilli served with sourdough toast as a rich appetiser, followed by an intriguing dish of reindeer and cranberry sausages, roast garlic and parsley mash, and port and cranberry gravy. With four starters and six mains of choose from, every guest is sure to find something they not only like, but are dazzled by. The range of puddings includes the likes of coconut and lemongrass panna cotta with a pineapple and salsa chilli to finish off an indulgent evening.
