England is perfectly sandwiched between two excellent areas, Scotland and Wales. Both are known for their mountainous landscape, though the former is the land of many a glen and loch (that’s valleys and lakes), while the latter boasts plenty of Marilyns and Hewitts (by which we mean big and small hills). For Michelin-starred chef Paul Kitching, it’s been the culmination of his dream to set up 21212 and run it in his own inimitable style. Facilities include a 38-seater restaurant with open kitchen, a drawing room, private dining and four luxury bedrooms. The listed Georgian townhouse has four floors and is light, spacious and airy.
