Michelin Stars Announced

The Michelin Stars for 2017 were announced on Monday, and as you can probably imagine, restaurateurs up and down Britain have been popping Champagne ever since. Widely considered one of the most prestigious awards in the food industry, this year saw an impressive 172 venues achieving or retaining their Michelin-star status. Among their numbers, 17 were new one-star entries, The Raby Hunt in Durham was the only venue to move up to two stars, while The Fat Duck in Bray rightfully regained its third.

With the number of outstanding restaurants in the UK growing year on year, we’d like to toast some of our absolute favourites and take this opportunity to congratulate them all from us here at Food & Drink.
