Coming from the team who bought us the world famous Treehotel in Sweden, comes the new floating Arctic Hotel and Spa that freezes into the ice in the winter and floats on the Lule river in the summer. Guests will enjoy a luxury overnight experience whilst being in a prime spot to take in the Northern Lights.
The design of the hotel is inspired by the ‘timber floating era’ where trees felled in local forests were transported down the river to be processed. The hotel is going to be in a circular shape and it will contain one spa treatment room, four saunas, an outside cold bath, a hot bath, outside and inside showers and two dressing rooms. There will also be six hotel rooms.
The hotel is set to be completed fairly soon, so you can register your interest in finding out when you can book here.
All of the designs are created using environmentally friendly methods and with locally sourced resources to ensure that there is minimal impact to the environment.
Flights from the UK to Sweden start from as little as £100, and once reservations open, you can book up to six months in advance, so keep your eye out and book this trip of a lifetime.
