The Chef Brigade have held an AA Rosette Award for food excellence continuously for more than 14 years. Villiers Hotel was featured in the first Michelin Guide in 1911 and has been consistently in the Michelin Guide each year ever since for more than 100 years.
Duke’s Restaurant was first featured in the Michelin Guide in 1911 and has remained recommended in the guide ever since. As you can imagine, the food is of the highest standard and features locally sourced produce. The Chef Brigade take great pride in delighting our Restaurant Customers by preparing sumptuous and innovative classical dishes with a modern twist. Dukes a la carte Menu changes with the seasons and the monthly set price Market Menu is offered to our diners alongside.
What to eat
Traditional Afternoon Tea, or Champagne Afternoon Tea, served in the Dukes Restaurant, Snug or Lounge. In the winter enjoy by the roaring log fire in the Dukes Bar or on a hot summer’s day take it outside to the Courtyard Terrace. Chef’s selection of freshly cut sandwiches with homemade cakes, scones, pastries to include his legendary Battenberg Cake can be enjoyed each day from 14:00hrs until 17:00hrs.

Go for the set price lunch menu: £18 2 Course and £22 3 Course, Available Monday- Saturday. Head off to explore Stowe House, a National Trust property with beautiful landscaped gardens that is very close to the hotel.
