Steaks are high in london

Are you partial to a prime cut? If so, London is a great city to be in, home to many excellent steakhouses, grills, burger bars and restaurants that know how to make a steak spectacular. Here’s a collection of some of our favourite places to frequent for a flavoursome cut.

London Steakhouse Co. Chelsea

Ensconced on the iconic King’s Road is this intimate venue. The restaurant combines the buzzing atmosphere you’d expect to find at a steakhouse with the top-notch service and beautiful fare of an upmarket establishment. The grass-fed beef is supplied by master butcher Aubrey Allen and is aged for 28 days.

Greedy Cow

The Greedy Cow was founded by two brothers with discerning tastes, a love of good food and a strong belief in value for money. As a small, bespoke venue, it offers a thoughtful service, and the original values are upheld today. All dishes are made on-site, utilising sustainably farmed beef from Herefordshire.

If you appreciate a good cut of meat, you will adore Rotunda at Kings Place. An elegant bar and restaurant sitting on the edge of the Regent’s Canal, Rotunda boasts a menu that centres around a selection of succulent cuts of beef and lamb from its very own farm, in Northumberland.

Terrace Grill & Bar

Above the bustling Piccadilly with spectacular views of the city below, the Terrace Grill & Bar is the perfect setting in which to enjoy exquisite food and drink. Muted tones, grand columns and ample natural light combine to create surroundings that are simultaneously elegant and relaxed. Beef comes from Surrey and is stored in a chiller room to ensure it is flavoursome and tender.

At this boutique steakhouse, grilling is considered an art form. The restaurant has partnerships with suppliers and ranches in South America, and also incorporates the continent’s culinary techniques in the creation of the mouth-watering dishes available.

JW Steakhouse

Sitting in Mayfair, JW Steakhouse showcases fine cuts of American USDA beef and a selection of hand-cut Aberdeen Angus steaks. There’s also a range of signature cuts that are aged and carved in the restaurant. Within the venue is Bourbon Bar, which has the largest and most varied selection of rare, pre-prohibition, single barrel and small batch Bourbons.
