Whisky Doughnuts
Doughnuts, meet whisky. Whisky, meet doughnuts. I think you’re going to get along just fabulously.
And they do. Thanks to the geniuses at Crosstown Doughnuts and Jura Whisky, this pairing of pleasures is now a ridiculously exciting reality. With a whisky cream filling and a whisky glaze, these donuts are sure to satisfy even the most modest of whisky fans.
Star Wars Ice Cream
Forget the ice cream vs gelato battle. Pfft! That’s old news. There’s an even more important cold dessert battle to take care of: good vs evil.
You see, the clever folk of Ample Hills Creamery, Brooklyn, USA, have launched Star Wars themed ice cream in two flavours: The Light Side and Dark Side. The Dark Side is an ‘ultra-dark chocolate ice cream with espresso fudge brownies, cocoa crispies’ and The Light Side boasting ‘bright marshmallow ice cream with homemade crispy clusters, and a smattering of handmade cocoa crispies’.
Although they’re not yet available in the UK, we’re hoping that, with all the attention they’re getting, it won’t be long.
Unicorn Tears Gin
Unicorns are rare. So rare, in fact, that their tears are being harvested, bottled, paired with mystical silver and distilled to make one of the most magical gins the world has ever seen.
Appropriately named the ‘magical mothers ruin’ by gadget experts, Firebox, we’re pretty sure this is going to be on a lot of naughty children’s (adults) Christmas lists.
We are, however, unsure as to how they made the unicorns cry. We guess they were happy tears. Unicorns don’t get sad, right?
