Missed out on tickets to Glastonbury this year? Then head to Nether Stowey for some cheese, cider and tunes instead…

Dubbed by Radio 2’s Chris Evans as a ‘not-to-be-missed pre-Glastonbury Somerset spree’, the Somerset Cheese, Cider and Moozic Fest takes place just days before the renowned music event. At this three-day extravaganza of food, drink and fun, you’ll find a sociable mix of revellers looking to practice their partying and cider-drinking before the music festival, as well as those without Glasto tickets after a replacement West Country frolic, plus cheese and cider connoisseurs eager to sample some of the finest Somerset tipples and nibbles.

Those heading to the fest at Cricketer Farm in Nether Stowey can expect live music from bands such as the Mangled Wurzels, plus plenty of entertainment, including welly wanging and cider pong. As its name suggests, there are also 30 cheeses and 30 ciders to chomp and sip your way through, plus cheese and cider-making demos.

Whether you get stuck into the activities, or just chill out with a pint of West Country’s finest cider, you can do so in the knowledge that you’ll be helping to raise money for the Somerset Flood Relief in the process – not a bad way to help out a charity, I’m sure you’ll agree.

If you fancy heading to this super Somerset shindig, we’ve got two pairs of tickets for Saturday 21st June to give away to two lucky winners. Entries close on Friday 13th June.
