Sally Webb took up the sandwich-shaped mantle this afternoon, for the penultimate day of our lunch week. And what better way to celebrate the return of the sunshine than with a ploughman’s-inspired lunch? Under the shade of a leafy tree on the local green, Sally tucked into crumbed ham, mature cheddar and coleslaw in the crustiest of crusty rolls, served with a crunchy Pink Lady apple and a slice of escapism in the form of a good book.
