JC Novelli introduces our latest guide

After the success of last years Hertfordshire Food and Drink Guide, I was delighted to be involved with this year’s Chilterns guide.

As you know, I have been living and working in Hertfordshire for the past five years, and I can honestly say that I enjoy it immensely. The local area has a wealth of farm produce and speciality growers who can supply me with fresh produce daily to use in the restaurant and at my cookery academy. One of the most important things to me as a chef is to use the best quality ingredients and to buy them locally where possible.

Eating out in Hertfordshire and the surrounding areas is a wonderful experience; there are an amazing amount of cooking styles and cultures to explore. I enjoy nothing more than spending time with my friends and family sharing an excellent meal - although, I’m not sure when I am going to have the time. 

This year is going to be especially busy for me as it sees the launch of my new range of kitchenware and appliances - including blenders, mixers and products to help with entertaining like an espresso machine and ice cream maker. You will also be seeing Novelli branded wines on the shelves and the expansion of the Findus Novelli range of fresh frozen meals, not to mention exhibitions and food shows throughout the country.
